I moved to Tewksbury in 1999 and joined the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA). I became a TTA board member in 2000, and currently hold the position of Vice President. I recently retired from the Bedminster School District and am helping my daughter care for her twin girls.
My interests are my horses, which I trail ride and show. And of course, there is a pony for the grandchildren. In addition I have several collies and work with the collie rescue.
I moved to Far Hills in 2000 and boarded my Quarter Horse, Kiefer, in Tewksbury. Not knowing the Tewksbury trail system, I often rode trails alone and never ventured far. Then, I met Karen Taylor-Broughton, and she showed me miles of trails that I would never have discovered on my own. I was so impressed with the extent of the trail system in Tewksbury, that I moved there in 2005, and became a board member of the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA) in 2006.
Now, I always have someone with which to ride trail, and I can count on Karen to show me trails yet untraveled, undiscovered, and always exciting. Through Karen, I met many other likeminded trail riders, and we are always ready for a new adventure. In riding these trails, I have discovered spectacular parts of New Jersey that I would have never seen otherwise, making me very proud of my state of NJ.
In addition to my trusty trail buddy, Kiefer, I also own a young trakehner, and enjoy dressage and cross country. Also, I have several Greyhounds and am involved in Greyhound rescue. As you may have guessed, my life revolves around my animals, and I have developed several businesses around them (AblePet and Thera-Paw, Inc.). I work predominantly with veterinarians, and design rehabilitative and assistive products for animals with special needs (www.therapaw.com; www.ablepet.com).
If I'm not near the phone or on the computer, you can bet that I'm out on trail. Hope to see you out there!

I moved to Tewksbury in 2003 and joined the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA). I enjoy hunter pacing my horses and met many of the TTA members at group trail rides and at the TTA trail pace. This is my second year on the TTA board. I have owned horses and competed most of my life, but riding the TTA trails is the perfect horse activity for me these days! I am a busy mom, work part-time at Prudential Financial and am a cub scout leader so I really enjoy squeezing in time to ride the beautifulTewksbury trails. I have made many friends and met like-minded horse people through the TTA. I hope to see you out there enjoying the trails! Happy riding.
I have pretty much been riding all of my life. Pony club, 4 H and some lower level eventing kept me busy growing up. I love all types of horses including my boys-Starbuck (or Cocoa Puff as KT calls him), and my young home bred Adamo.
After 20 years in the financial services industry, I started my web design business. Of course the equestrian sites are my favorite, but I design a wide variety of sites from just about any industry. I also love to write, go to my daughter's guitar gigs, and I guess you could call me a lifelong student of the "human condition."
When I am not on the computer, you will probably find me hunter pacing or exploring the trails of Hunterdon County and beyond. We are so forunate to have such incredible trails with breath taking views. I am currently the president of the Readington Trail Association where we are working hard to connect the trails within town and between Readington and the surrounding towns. My goal is a cross-county trail ride! Happy trails and thanks for the pleasure of taking care of the website. If you have ideas, news or classified ads, please feel free to send them my way.
